French Star Interested In Manchester United Switch

Manchester United have been keeping tabs on defenders across Europe, with the Reds looking to bolster their line of defence come to the winter transfer window.

Manchester has retained a serious interest in French centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo since the summer transfer window. Manchester United made their interest known to the player’s camp in an attempt to test the waters with an opening bid to OGC Nice.

Manchester United FFP restrictions meant that Jean-Clair Todibo’s deal was no longer viable and the transfer was reportedly abandoned with hopes of coming back for Todibo in January.

Jean-Clair Todibo has enjoyed a good start to life at OGC Nice, with the French fullback earning his first senior National team call-up during the Euros qualifiers and a fantastic season with his Nice who sits amongst the highest rank teams this season in Ligue 1.

Jean-Clair Todibo has continuously reiterated his desire to join the English giants if they decide to come back during the winter transfer window.
