Casemiro Responds To Critcs On His Recent Performances
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has said he has suffered ‘sleepless nights’ thinking about the inconsistency of his team since the start of the season.
United have endured a chaotic campaign so far, having been dumped out of Europe in December after finishing the bottom of their UEFA Champions League group.
Casemiro has revealed that he is finding it difficult to deal with the team not fighting for major honours at the latter stages of the season and are from going toe to toe with the league title contenders.
“Being more than 20 points behind first place. Sometimes, I can’t even sleep to try to think about doing something different. It’s reality. There’s no point in thinking about title or Champions League places, we need to think about today’s games.”
“We need to think about the day to day, we had the opportunity to score nine points in the last few games and we scored two. We were upset. We have to think game by game and focus on the next match.”
Casemiro was also not too pleased with Manchester United performance against Crystal palace at Selhurst Park on monday;

“The game was very fast-paced and well played. A classic. We were playing against a rejuvenated side and who is going through a good moment.”
“The performance was terrible. At home we are strong, but we played against a great team. We have to think about the next match.”
United are currently out of a European spot with The Red Devils constantly dropping points and got hammered by Crystal Palace.
