Jadon Sancho Reacts To Man Utd FA Cup Victory
Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho was quick to congratulate Marcus Rashford after Saturday’s 2-1 FA Cup final win over Manchester City at Wembley.
Marcus Rashford started the game as first-half goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo were enough to secure a shock win over the Premier League champions at Wembley Stadium.
After a mistake from Josko Gvardiol handed Garnacho a tap-in for United’s opener, Rashford was involved in the build-up to the second goal as his 70-yard cross-field ball found the feet of Garnacho, who cut the ball back for Bruno Fernandes to find Mainoo at the back post and slot past Stefan Ortega.
During the celebrations and euphoria, Rashford could be seen taking in the support of the United fans, who he applauded as tears rolled down his face.
Posting on Instagram after the game, the forward wrote: “People want to know what Man United means to me!”

To which Sancho, who has spent the second half of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after falling out of favour under Erik ten Hag, replied: “Love you brother”
It has been a difficult season for Rashford, who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after failing to replicate the scintillating goal-scoring form that saw him handed a lucrative new five-year deal last summer.
His disappointing performances have not gone unnoticed, and he also got omitted recently from the England provisional squad heading to the Euros.
Critics argue that a change of environment might reignite his career, with several top clubs reportedly interested in acquiring his services. Sources close to the player mention that Rashford has been grappling with injuries and personal issues, which have affected his on-field performance.
Despite these setbacks, Rashford remains committed to improving and has been working tirelessly in training sessions to regain his best form.
Many fans believe that his dedication and passion for the game will eventually pay off, and he will rise to silence his doubters. As the transfer window looms, it remains to be seen whether Rashford will stay at Manchester United or seek a fresh start elsewhere to kickstart his career.
