‘We’ll not be held to ransom’- Man Utd Informs Parent Club Over Summer Target
According to reports that Jarrad Braithwaite is being eyed by Manchester United as they attempt to strengthen their defenses.

The 21-year-old might be available in the upcoming summer transfer window for a knockdown price.
After rising through the levels at Carlisle United, Braithwaite was able to join the first team in 2019. A year later, Everton signed the young defender. Last season, the center-back spent time on loan at PSV Eindhoven. During his remarkable loan stint, he played in 36 games and assisted in six goals.
He has made over 30 appearances since returning to Everton, solidifying his position as a stalwart. The 21-year-old has a ton of promise and many have taken note of his outstanding potential.
According to The Sun, Manchester United intends to use Jason Wilcox’s connections to aid them in the pursuit of Jarrad Braithwaite. The Everton defender is deemed an £80 million signing ahead of the summer, with INEOS eager to bring some marquee names in the summer.
However, Man Utd have informed Everton that they will not be held to ransom in their pursuit for Braithwaite with Everton’s price tag considered absurd.
Manchester United are also eager to use Jason Wilcox’s presence in a big way, as the director has good relations with Branthwaite’s agent, David Reeves. These are small margins through which INEOS can benefit in the race, as many other clubs will angle for a move should Everton make him available.
