‘Old Trafford has the best atmosphere in the PL’ – Man United confident of signing Summer Transfer Target Amid Old Trafford Claims

Manchester United have been handed a significant boost in their pursuit of Michael Olise as the Crystal Palace star is ‘open’ to completing a switch to Old Trafford, according to GIVEMESPORT.

Man Utd new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe approved the pursuit before his arrival in the boardroom.

Olise has been identified as Manchester United’s top target after putting plans in place to sell Antony when the transfer window reopens.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is keen to get the Brazilian off the wage bill after struggling to become a constant threat in the final third of the pitch. The club could also cut their losses on Antony.

The likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo were preferred over him on the right wing during the final weeks of last season.

Antony managed just two goal involvements in the recent Premier League campaign. The hierarchy could decide to cash in than keeping him and lowering his valuation further.

Why Man United wants Michael Olise

Manchester United are ‘confident’ of signing Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise when the transfer window reopens next month.

The Red Devils are on the search for a new right winger and Olise has been earmarked as the top target after an impressive 2023/24 season with the Eagles.

TalkSPORT now claim that United are confident of striking a deal for the Frenchman, who managed 16 goal contributions from 19 appearances last season.

He won close to six duels per game while completing over two take-ons. Olise also impressed with his key passes and accurate crosses into the box from the right wing.

Taking this into regard, Olise would be a fantastic acquisition. The France youth international also has the ability to operate from the number 10 position which is a plus given United need for versatile players.

Crystal Palace are prepared to sanction his sale for his £60 million release clause. United could sign the 22-year-old as soon as the transfer window reopens on June 14.

Olise had an injury disrupted season with the Eagles. He suffered three separate hamstring injuries, but still impressed with 10 goals and six assists from 19 outings.

His consistency will have caught the eye of the Red Devils. The Reading graduate played only 938 minutes, but created nine big chances for his teammates.

Taking this into regard, Olise would be a fantastic acquisition. The France youth international also has the ability to operate from the number 10 position which is a plus.

If United were to sign Olise, it could spell the end of Jadon Sancho and a possible return for Mason Greenwood.

Both Englishmen could be offloaded on a permanent basis after their loan stint with Borussia Dortmund and Getafe respectively.
