Juventus ‘Offer Multiple Player Swap Deal Plus Cash For Jadon Sancho
Juventus have opened talks with the Premier League giants Manchester United over a proposed move for Jadon Sancho, as the 24-year-old looks to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Sancho, who spent the second half of last season back on loan at Borussia Dortmund, after a much-publicised fall out with United boss Erik ten-Hag, has now become a primary summer target for the Bianconeri as their new coach, Thiago Motta, looks to breath new life into the squad.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via calciomercato.com) claims that Borussia Dortmund, who the Red Devils paid €85M to hire the services of Sancho back in the summer of 2021, are keen to make his loan move permanent which could then open the door for another Bianconeri target, 22-year-olod left winger Karim Adeyemi.
Juventus and Manchester United have held talks over a potential loan deal for want-away winger Jadon Sancho. Some of that has to do with the fact that, according to Della Valle, United continue to hold out for a big transfer fee for another reported Juve target, Mason Greenwood, with another part simply because Sancho is somebody that Cristiano Giuntoli has chased in the not-so-distant past to try and bring him to Turin.
So, while United reportedly values Sancho at the same €50 million price tag they’re attaching to Greenwood, Juve have discussed a loan move for the 2024-25 season to try and add Sancho to the mix.
The report details Juventus’ interest in Sancho during last January’s transfer window, with now-former manager Max Allegri not exactly being too keen on the deal. Sancho ended up going back on a six-month loan to Borussia Dortmund, helping the club that cashed in on him a couple of years ago get to the Champions League final on June 1.
Dortmund are also reportedly keen on trying to sign Sancho once again, although the big transfer fee ask might mean they can only do some sort of loan deal once again.
Juve to offer player swap deal as make weight for Sancho

Juventus could reportedly offer Federico Chiesa as a make weight to ease the deal to land Jadon Sancho. Chiesa is back to his best this season and has contributed four goals and an assist in his first six games which has prompted United to set sights on him.
Chiesa is currently earning £80,000 per week with a contract that is set to expire in 2025. The Italian winger gained recognition as one of the standout performers during Euro 2020 but endured a serious ACL injury that kept him sidelined for the majority of the following year.
United firmly stand behind Erik ten Hag and reportedly supports the manager’s decision to exile Sancho after the player accused the Dutch tactician of making him a “scapegoat” in a now-deleted Instagram post. Although the English winger has deleted his Instagram post, he has reportedly refused to apologise which keeps him frozen out at the club with willing to cash-in this summer.
If the situation continues to remains the same then United will be willing to do a deal with Juventus by accepting a swap deal involving both players.
