Man Utd Line-up Shock Bid For Euros Star

Manchester United are reportedly hoping to land another Dutch-man this summer in Xavi Simons as the Red Devils look set for a Dutch revolution at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag.

The young Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, who scored a spectacular goal in the Euro 2024 semi-final against England, spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig. He was one of the brightest players in the Bundesliga which has helped him attract interest from several top clubs like United and Bayern Munich.

PSG re-signed Simons from PSV in 2023 for £5million but would be looking for around £70m to let him go now given his rapid improvement this term.

The 21-year-old registered 10 goals and 15 assists in 43 appearances on loan at RB Leipzig last term.

United are also in for two other members of the Netherlands squad as they pursue deals for Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee.

Bologna’s Zirkzee is on his way to Old Trafford in a £34million deal.

The striker completed his medicals today ahead of agreeing a five year contract.
