Revealed: The UEL Matches’ Bruno Fernandes Will Miss Amid Rejected Appeal

Bruno Fernandes has had a tough week! He received his second red card in five days, during Manchester United’s 3-3 draw against Porto in the Europa League last week Thursday.
The Portuguese midfielder was booked in the first half and then saw a second yellow card in the 81st minute for leading with his studs while trying to tap in a cross. Unfortunately, this meant United had to finish the game with 10 men.
Until Manchester United clashed with Tottenham two Sundays ago, Bruno Fernandes had amassed over 600 appearances for club and country, never once receiving a straight red card.
Despite his reputation for having a fiery temperament, Bruno Fernandes’ sending-off against Tottenham surprised many, given his previously impressive disciplinary record.
With only two prior career red cards, Bruno Fernandes’ recent send-offs against Tottenham and Porto have raised eyebrows, especially given the FA’s rescinding of his initial red card.
Which Europa League game will Bruno Fernandes miss?
Fernandes will now miss Manchester United’s next Europa League match against Fenerbahçe SK.
Man Utd’s Skipper will be absent for the Red Devils’ daunting trip to Istanbul on 24 October as they take on a Fenerbahce side coached by none other than Jose Mourinho.
While Fernandes will miss that game, he’ll be eligible to return when Man Utd face Greek side PAOK at Old Trafford on 7 November.
