Former Man United Midfielder Seeks Old Trafford Return Under Amorim

Ruben Amorim is reportedly willing to facilitate the return of Angel Gomes to Manchester United.
The report adds: ‘The Portuguese coach is right behind the possible move because he is a long-time admirer of the 24-year-old midfielder.’
Last month, Gomes hinted at a potential return to Man Utd: “There’ll always be that sentimental soft spot, so of course it’d be difficult to say no.”
Gomes, who made his United debut in 2017 at just 16 years old, was once considered one of the most promising young talents to emerge from the club’s academy.
Angel Gomes’ impressive form as a deep-lying playmaker at Lille, under Paulo Fonseca, has not only earned him England call-ups but also attracted interest from multiple Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, with Ruben Amorim reportedly giving the “green light” for United to pursue his signature.
