Man Utd Offered Two Times UCL Winner from Madrid
Manchester United Set Sights on Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin as Andre Onana’s Possible Replacement alongside Trafford

Manchester United’s search for a reliable goalkeeper has led them to Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin, with the Red Devils reportedly preparing a €40million bid for the Ukraine international.
Lunin, who has grown frustrated with his backup role to Thibaut Courtois at the Santiago Bernabéu, is said to be open to a move away from Madrid.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Manchester United has reignited their interest in Lunin, having previously considered a move for the 24-year-old goalkeeper.
With Andre Onana’s future at Old Trafford hanging in the balance, United are determined to bring in a top-class keeper to stabilize their defense.
Onana, who arrived at Manchester United in July 2023, has struggled to impress, making several high-profile errors that have cost the team valuable points.
As a result, United manager Ruben Amorim has lost faith in the Cameroonian international, paving the way for a potential replacement.
Lunin, who has extended his contract with Real Madrid until June 2030, is said to be eager to leave the Spanish capital in search of regular first-team football.
Madrid, however, will only consider letting him go if a “considerable offer” is made.

Manchester United’s interest in Lunin comes amid reports that they are also pursuing Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford.
However, if the deal for Trafford becomes complicated, United are prepared to turn their attention to Lunin, with a €40million bid reportedly on the table.
During summer transfer window, Manchester United’s goalkeeping situation is set to be a major talking point.
