PSG Star Responds to Manchester United Transfer Talks

Manchester United have made formal contact with Camara’s representatives in recent weeks, signaling serious interest in securing his signature.

The club has scouted him for over a year, impressed by his performances for PSG’s U19s, where he scored seven goals this season and captained the side.

Despite PSG’s attempts to retain him with a professional contract, Camara is reportedly determined to leave Paris, opening the door for a summer transfer.

Camara is a right-footed winger, Camara is described as “quick” and “tricky,” with a knack for creating chances.

His versatility allows him to play across the front line, making him a valuable asset for tactical flexibility.

He has already represented France at the U18 level and is eligible to play for Mali, which could aid his integration at United alongside Malian teammate Sekou Kone.

United’s recruitment team, led by Christopher Vivell, views Camara as a “Koné-type deal,” referencing the successful signing of Sékou Koné in United’s Youth Recruitment Strategy.

Like Chido Obi-Martin (17), who scored 32 goals in 18 games for Arsenal’s U18s before joining United, and defender Ayden Heaven (18), who quickly broke into the first team after arriving in January.

This aligns with manager Ruben Amorim’s philosophy of blending youth with experience.

Mancheser United appeals so much Oumar Camara with a path to the first team guaranteed.
