Revealed: Barcelona’s Loan Fee Offer for Rashford

Barcelona are reportedly exploring a loan deal for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, with a proposed fee ranging from €5m to €10m for a one-year spell, as the Catalan giants navigate their financial landscape while seeking to bolster their attacking options.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest that while Manchester United are keen on a permanent sale for around €40m, Barcelona are reluctant to commit to such a significant outlay at this stage, prioritising other targets like Luis Diaz. The potential loan arrangement would include Barcelona covering Rashford’s substantial salary, with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Rashford’s future at Old Trafford has been the subject of intense speculation, particularly after a loan spell at Aston Villa where he rediscovered some of his form. Despite a resurgence, the forward is believed to be seeking a new challenge, with a move to Barcelona reportedly his “dream.”
