Manchester United Are Struggling To Keep Two Top-Class Academy Players

Academy has been the bedrock of Manchester United Football Club, with the likes of Giggs, Paul Scholes, and David Beckham all coming through Manchester United Academy ranks.

Carrington is known for its talents produced over the years with new names coming into light and excellently well on the big stages. Some notable names from the academy have become a strong part of Manchester United’s current squad.

Players like Marcus Rashford, Scott Mctominay, Alejandro Garnacho and Hannibal Mejbri all came through the Manchester United academy.

A few new names have caught the eyes of Manager Erik Ten Hag since he signed for the club 18 months ago. Kobbie Mainoo, Dan Gore, Omari Forson and Hannibal Mejbri all got their first team debut under Erik Ten Hag.

Erik Ten Hag has always been known to have a good eye for quality youngsters during his Ajax days with the majority of his players coming through the Ajax Academy.

Manchester United are now battling to keep Kobbie Mainoo and Omari Forson long-term with many clubs all over Europe keen on their signature. There’s little chance Manchester United will let any of them leave permanently.
