Fresh Manchester United Injury Updates
United midfielder Eriksen had to be substituted in the 40th minute with a suspected knee problem before fellow Danish national Højlund was brought off in the second half with hamstring difficulty.
“At this moment, I can’t say anything about it because I don’t know,”
Ten Hag said in his post-match comments regarding Hojlund. “We do an assessment and we have to wait 24 hours for the conclusion. So we’ll give the medical team 24 hours to see what the problem is if there is a problem.”
You don’t want to miss any player. There’s also Christian Eriksen. That is our season at this moment – we have so many injuries. But, therefore, you have a squad. We have talked about it many times. But, of course, the routine levels are dropping down, the routine levels in the team, in the way of playing. But, hopefully, players are coming back and those new injuries are not too bad.”
Højlund couldn’t score his first Premier League goal for United on Saturday, stretching his run to nine appearances in the division without striking.
On Eriksen, he added: “He slipped but it’s the same – we have to do the assessment, set the diagnosis, set the conclusion and then we’ll know where we are.”
🔴🇩🇰Rasmus Højlund and Christian Eriksen Return Date:

Both Hojlund and Eriksen were included in Denmark’s recently announced squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovenia and Northern Ireland in November. Kasper Hjulmand’s side is on the verge of qualifying for next summer’s tournament.
They have both now withdrawn from national duties due to apparent injuries sustained against Luton Town on Saturday afternoon. Manchester United Medical are yet to identify how long they’ll both be out of action.
Erik Ten Hag hopes to have them back after the international break but contrary reports now claims Christian Eriksen could be out for over a month and Rasmus Højlund yo be back by November 30th.
Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw could both be back to first-team training after the international break alongside Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was reportedly ill. Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez are still nowhere near full recuperation, and Erik Ten Hag doesn’t expect them to be back until after the new year.
