Man United Loanee Scores First Professional Goal

Ethan Wheatley Manchester United loanee, scored his first professional goal for Northampton Town today in a 2-0 victory over Exeter City.

The 19-year-old forward’s strike came just 58 seconds into the match at Sixfields Stadium.

Wheatley, on a season-long loan from the Premier League giants, wasted no time in making his mark. He received the ball on the left side, drove into the penalty area, and fired a precise shot from a tight angle to beat the Exeter City goalkeeper.

The early goal set the tone for Northampton, who doubled their lead just 15 minutes later through Max Dyche. The win marked Northampton’s first of the season.
