Amad Diallo Eyes Revival Under Ruben Amorim
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo is hopeful that the arrival of new manager Ruben Amorim will revitalize his Old Trafford career.
Diallo, who has struggled to establish himself in the United first team since his £28 million move from Atalanta in 2021, believes Amorim’s appointment can provide a fresh start.
Under former manager Erik ten Hag, Diallo made just 12 appearances in all competitions, often finding himself relegated to the bench or left out of the squad altogether.
However, with Amorim at the helm, Diallo is optimistic that his fortunes will change.
Amad Diallo on Ruben Amorim:
“I will say we are excited to have him with this team and I can’t wait to work with him.”
Diallo’s impressive display in United’s 2-0 win over PAOK, where he scored both goals, may have caught Amorim’s attention.
Amorim’s track record of nurturing young talent, particularly during his time at Sporting CP, has given Diallo renewed hope.
