Amorim Set to Part-Ways with Ten Hag’s Summer Signing with Replacement Ready
Manchester United’s Winter Transfer Plans Under New Manager Ruben Amorim

Manchester United are experiencing positive momentum under their new manager, Ruben Amorim.
With the winter transfer window on the horizon, there’s anticipation that Amorim will be supported with new signings to enhance the squad.
Andre Onana has solidified his position as the first-choice goalkeeper for United, displaying confidence and skill between the posts.
However, the club’s board is reportedly looking to introduce a goalkeeper who can challenge Onana for the top spot.
Altay Bayindir, who joined as Onana’s backup, hasn’t managed to claim the starting role, leading to rumors that he might be considering a move away from the club in the near future.
According to reports from UOL, Manchester United have initiated discussions with Botafogo regarding the transfer of their goalkeeper, John Victor, in a bid to bring him to Old Trafford.

If this transfer goes through, Victor could potentially step in as Bayindir’s replacement at United. Last season, the 28-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper was instrumental for Botafogo, featuring in 51 matches.
His performance included a 79% save rate and a 77% passing accuracy.
Much like Onana, Victor is adept at playing out from the back, but he also brings additional strengths with his superior reflexes and commanding presence due to his height of 197 cm.
Botafogo has placed a £20 million valuation on Victor, but Manchester United are likely to negotiate for a lower fee, possibly with performance-based add-ons in the deal.
