Amount Revealed: Man Utd Contract Offer For Joshua Zirkzkee
Man Utd have been given the green light by Joshua Zirkzee as they work on a deal to bring the Bologna striker to Old Trafford, according to reports.
The Red Devils are desperate to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window as they look to take the goalscoring burden away from Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford next season.
With 12 goals and four assists last season for the Italian outfit, per WhoScored, it’s clear why Erik ten Hag would be keen to land the player.
Last season, the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford really struggled in the goalscoring department, and the club need someone who, with the right service, is a virtual guarantee of goals.
It is believed Zirkzee has agreed personal terms, with the deal now hinging on United agreeing a transfer fee with Bologna as well as commissions with the striker’s agent.
How much will Zirkzee cost and contract offer?
The Dutchman has a €40m (£34m) release clause in his contract but United are still in negotiations with Bologna about how they will pay it.
It should be pointed out that the clause for Zirkzee does expire in mid-August so the Red Devils don’t have a limitless amount of time to get this deal over the line.

In addition to Zirkzee, Erik ten Hag’s side have been locked in talks with Bayern Munich about Matthijs de Ligt. There is said to be some distance between the two sides’ valuations of the defender at the moment.
