Juventus and Bayern Munich Interested in Manchester United Winger Antony, But €50M Price Tag a Sticking Point

Juventus and Bayern Munich have both expressed strong interest in signing Manchester United winger Antony in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to reports from Tutto Juve. However, both European giants are reportedly hesitant to meet United’s €50 million valuation of the Brazilian.

Antony, who joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2022 for a fee in the region of €95 million, has struggled to consistently deliver on expectations at Old Trafford. But after being loaned to Real Betis earlier this season, the Brazilian has shown signs of revival.

During his loan spell, Antony has impressed and improved end product, playing a pivotal role in helping Real Betis reach the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

His resurgence in Spain has reignited interest from top European clubs, with Juventus and Bayern Munich closely monitoring his progress.

Juventus are believed to be targeting Antony as part of their wider effort to inject dynamism into their flanks, while Bayern see him as a potential solution to strengthen their attacking depth, particularly amid uncertainty surrounding some of their current wide players.

Despite their interest, both clubs are reportedly unwilling to pay the full €50 million asking price. Juventus are said to prefer a loan move with an option or obligation to buy, while Bayern may explore a reduced fee or potential swap deal to bring down the overall cost.
