Cristiano Ronaldo Berates The Current Standard At Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo became the first men’s player in history to score 900 goals in official matches, reaching his latest milestone in Portugal’s UEFA Nations League match against Croatia in Lisbon on Thursday.
Ronaldo secured the historic goal with a volley from 6 yards off a cross from Nuno Mendes to put Portugal 2-0 up in the 34th minute. Portugal went on to win 2-1.
“It means a lot,” Ronaldo said. “It was a milestone I wanted to reach for a long time. I knew I would reach this number, because as I continue to play, it would happen naturally.”
In the celebration, Ronaldo raised his hands to his face and dropped to his knees.
Cristiano Ronaldo claims attachment to Manchester United

The Portuguese superstar became a club legend during his first spell at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009, winning his first Champions League and Ballon d’Or before winning several at Real Madrid.
Following spells at Madrid at Juventus, Ronaldo returned to United in 2021. The man who signed him – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – was dismissed shortly after his arrival, and there was instant tension with interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
Erik ten Hag would later clash with Ronaldo which led to a shock interview with Piers Morgan in November 2022. Ronaldo spoke out against the manager and club before joining Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr over a month later.
Speaking to former teammate Rio Ferdinand during a new interview, Ronaldo said (via The Sun): “We cannot control some points of our lives sometimes but it’s done, it’s already done.
Cristiano Ronaldo unhappy with the standard at Manchester United

Cristiano is critical of the current standard at Man Utd after current manager Erik Ten Hag claimed his team is still far away from competing for major honours.
In his recent interview Ronaldo said: My first season with 37, I was the third best scorer of the league. I scored in all the group-stage games. I scored every game. Even in the league, I scored 17 goals or 18 goals. I did amazing.”
“I believe that the future will be bright [for United]. I believe, but they don’t depend only on the talents. It’s more than that. It’s all club, all, not only players, club, everything as a unit, united. You know? They have to rebuild from the bottom. If not, they cannot compete. It will be impossible. They can do good things, yes, they can win Carabao, yeah, but I mean, Champions League or Europa League or Premier League, difficult, in my opinion. And I wish that I’m wrong, I wish, but will be difficult.”
