Erik ten Hag Nears New Managerial Role After Man Utd Exit

Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is being considered for the top job at Serie A club Roma, signalling a potential swift return to elite management.

The Italian club are in disarray at the moment having dismissed Ivan Juric after a 3-2 home defeat by Bologna on Sunday. The Croatian’s exit follows the sacking of Daniele de Rossi earlier in the season, the latter who had only been in the post eight months after taking over from Jose Mourinho.

Roma sit 12th in the table and the club’s American owners, the Friedkins, are now searching for a third manager of the season and Ten Hag’s name has been linked.

Italian news outlet Il Messaggero claims that both the Dutchman and former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter are being considered by Roma.
