“It’d Be A Dream” Wolves Star Reacts To Man Utd Transfer Link
The Red Devils have been credited with an interest in the £60m-rated 25-year-old Matheus Cunha, who scored 12 Premier League goals for the Molineux club last season.
Matheus Cunha insists he is happy at Wolves despite links with a summer move to Manchester United.
Despite ongoing uncertainty in regards to Erik ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford, United have been linked with a number of high-profile players already this summer as Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS group prepare for their first window in charge of football operations.
Anthony Martial has left the club already, leaving only Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford as the only recognised senior central strikers in the United squad.
Man Utd aims to bring in a support striker for Rasmus Hojlund this summer, as the game load on the young Danish striker was considered too much by the United new Bosses.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, Cunha said: “My focus is on resting and making the most of my time with my family. I’m very happy at Wolves. The focus now is on having better seasons and helping the club.
“God willing, I’ll continue on this path”.
Matheus Cunha has not ruled out anything on his future with a move to the theater of dreams a possible reality for him.
