Manchester United Shut Down Napoli’s Approach for Joshua Zirkzee
Manchester United have decisively ended any speculation regarding the future of forward Joshua Zirkzee, informing Italian club Napoli that the Dutchman is not for sale.
The Red Devils’ firm stance comes after Napoli reportedly made an inquiry for the player following a long-term injury to their star striker Romelu Lukaku.
According to reports from Italian journalist Marco Conterio, Manchester United delivered the message to Napoli today, leaving no room for negotiation.
This confirmation puts an end to the Partenopei’s hopes of luring the talented forward to the Stadio Maradona as a replacement for the injured Belgian.
Zirkzee, who joined Manchester United last summer from Bologna, has been viewed as a key component of the squad under manager Ruben Amorim.
