Man United Duo Omitted From England Squad

According to reports Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire will not take part of England games during the course of the October international break.

The Manchester United duo missed Euro 2024 after failing to recover from injury but for Maguire, he was part of Carsley’s first squad in September. On this occasion, their lack of high-level performance is understood to be a factor behind their omission.

“It is probably not a case of why they are not in. I just think, at the minute, there are players ahead of them,” the former Birmingham City enforcer explains, via Sun Sport on YouTube.

“They are both players that have done really well for England and the clubs in their past. They are both on the radar. I’ve watched them live, both players. So they are definitely players who are going to get considered for the future.”
