Man United GK move Jeopardised Amid Injury Woes

Manchester United is closely monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos ahead of the summer transfer window.

The club’s goalkeeper position has become a concern due to the inconsistent performances of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.

Both Onana and Bayindir have been error-prone, raising doubts about their reliability. Onana’s recent mistakes in the Europa League draw with Lyon led to him being dropped from the matchday squad for the Premier League game against Newcastle.

Bayindir’s subsequent performance against Newcastle was also disappointing.

Manchester United has been linked to several goalkeepers, including Lucas Chevalier, James Trafford, Senne Lamments, and Bart Verbruggen.

Now, Santos has emerged as a potential target, with reports suggesting the club has made an enquiry about him.

However, a potential move for Santos is complicated by his recent cruciate ligament tear, which could keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Eintracht Frankfurt is unlikely to sell Santos unless they receive a substantial offer exceeding €60m.
