Manchester United’s young winger Ethan Williams has returned to action with the club’s U21 side following a productive loan spell at Cheltenham Town during the second half of the 2024/25 season.
Williams, 19, joined Cheltenham Town in January 2025, where he quickly made an impression in League Two. Over the course of 17 appearances, he contributed two goals and two assists, gaining valuable first-team experience and showcasing his pace, dribbling, and creativity on the wing.
His performances drew praise from both Cheltenham fanns, who noted his maturity and potential to progress within Manchester United’s ranks.
The loan spell was seen as a vital step in his development, providing the competitive edge and physical challenge of senior football.
Now back with Manchester United, Williams has rejoined the U21 squad and made his first appearance since returning.
