Man United make Contact for Spanish Goalkeeper
Manchester United Makes Move for Espanyol Goalkeeper Joan García

Manchester United has reportedly contacted Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García’s entourage to make him an offer. The Red Devils are interested in García as a potential replacement or competitor for Andre Onana, whose recent performances have raised concerns.
Ruben Amorim’s side has been impressed by García’s goalkeeping prowess, and the goalkeeper’s potential fit with the team is being explored.
García has played a crucial role for Espanyol this season, keeping four clean sheets in 25 appearances. With Onana’s future at Old Trafford uncertain, García could be an attractive option to strengthen Manchester United’s goalkeeper department
García’s release clause currently stands at €25m, increasing by €5m in the final 15 days of the transfer window and another €5m if he’s capped by Spain.
Espanyol may be open to negotiations, but a transfer to the Premier League seems more likely.
Should Manchester United secure García’s signature, it could mark a significant change in the team’s goalkeeper dynamics. With Amorim’s backing, García might become a long-term solution for the club, potentially pushing Onana out of the starting lineup.
