Man United Reach Agreement in Principle for Summer Signing

Manchester United Close in on Bryan Mbeumo Deal After Improved Bid

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of securing the signing of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, with an improved offer of £50 million plus £10 million in add-ons understood to be on the table and expected to be accepted by the West London club.

The Red Devils’ pursuit of Mbeumo has been ongoing, with an initial bid of £45 million upfront and £10 million in add-ons being rejected by Brentford.

However, United’s determination to bring the Cameroon international to Old Trafford has seen them increase their guaranteed offer, moving closer to Brentford’s valuation.

Brentford have consistently sought a fee in the region of the £62.5 million Manchester United recently paid for Matheus Cunha this summer, highlighting their belief in Mbeumo’s market value.

The improved offer from United suggests a compromise is now imminent, paving the way for Mbeumo to become the club’s second significant attacking reinforcement of the transfer window.

Mbeumbo, who enjoyed a prolific season for Brentford, is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford, despite interest from other top clubs. His versatility and goal-scoring prowess are seen as a valuable asset to Ruben Amorim’s squad as they look to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season.

While personal terms are still to be finalized, reports suggest that Mbeumo’s wage demands are not expected to be a stumbling block for United, who are prepared to meet his salary expectations.

The potential arrival of Mbeumo, alongside the already confirmed signing of Matheus Cunha, signifies a clear intent from Manchester United to bolster their frontline and compete at the highest level.
