Man United Rejects PSV Offer to Sign Defender

Manchester United have reportedly rejected a permanent transfer bid from PSV Eindhoven for their promising young full-back, Harry Amass.

The 17-year-old, who has been a standout performer in the club’s youth ranks, is highly valued by the Red Devils, who are only willing to consider a loan move for his continued development.

Amass, a former Arsenal academy player, joined United in 2023 and has since made a strong impression with his performances for the U18 and U21 teams.

His potential has not gone unnoticed, with several clubs across Europe showing interest in securing his services. PSV, in particular, were keen on a permanent deal, viewing the youngster as a long-term investment for their squad.

However, United’s stance is clear. The club sees Amass as a future first-team prospect and believes that a temporary move to a club where he can get regular senior football is the best course of action.

This would allow him to gain valuable experience without losing the connection to his parent club. The decision is a testament to United’s commitment to nurturing their young talent and ensuring they are given the best possible pathway to success.

While PSV’s offer has been rebuffed, it is expected that a number of clubs will now enter the race for a loan deal.
