Man United’s Star Agent Spotted in Saudi Arabia
Speculation surrounding the future of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has intensified following reports that his agent, Miguel Pinho, was seen in a hotel in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

This sighting comes amidst persistent rumours linking the Portuguese playmaker with a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.
The exact nature of Pinho’s visit remains undisclosed, but his presence in Riyadh has inevitably fueled the transfer mill, especially with Al-Hilal actively pursuing high-profile European talents for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and beyond.
Al-Hilal, a dominant force in Saudi Arabian football, have been heavily linked with a move for Fernandes in recent weeks. Reports suggest the Saudi club is prepared to offer a staggering financial package, potentially reaching £200 million over three years, including a weekly wage upwards of £700,000 tax-free.
They are also believed to be ready to table an offer of around £100 million to Manchester United for Fernandes’ transfer.
The timing of Pinho’s visit is particularly noteworthy, given Manchester United’s recent struggles and their failure to qualify for European competition next season. Fernandes himself has been candid about his future, stating that he would remain at the club “until the club says to me that it’s time to go.”
This statement, made after United’s Europa League final defeat, has been interpreted by some as an openness to a potential departure if it benefits the club financially.
While United manager Ruben Amorim has publicly expressed his desire to keep Fernandes, emphasizing his importance to the team’s rebuild, the financial allure of Saudi Arabia could prove challenging to resist for both the player and the club, especially as United looks to generate funds for new signings.
Al-Hilal’s pursuit of Fernandes is part of a broader strategy to bolster their squad with world-class players. Having reportedly missed out on Mohamed Salah, they are now keen to secure a marquee name before the Club World Cup commences in June. Fernandes, at 30 years old, is still considered to be at the peak of his powers and would represent a significant coup for the Saudi Pro League.
