Man Utd Possible Starting Line-Up As Two Regular Starters Set To Miss out
Manchester United will be without Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire for tonight’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
Bruno Fernandes injury comes as a huge blow to Manchester United who are currently struggling to put their acts together.
Erik ten Hag has confirmed the club captain is a doubt due to an issue he picked up in the draw against Burnley.
There are question marks over seven first-team players for the trip to Selhurst Park as United battle a swathe of injuries, although Jonny Evans has returned to training and Scott McTominay is due back over the weekend.
The latest blow comes in Maguire’s muscle injury, which will rule him out until at least the FA Cup final.
“Scott didn’t train so far this week but I expect him back in training on Saturday,”
Ten Hag told reporters on Thursday. “We have to see if he’s 100 per cent available or for a part of the game.
“After the [Burnley] game, we had an issue with Bruno. He is a doubt for Monday. We all know Bruno, never rule him out for any game, he will do his best to be available.
“Jonny Evans returned today for team training. Tomorrow we are off and then we have two days until the game. [Anthony] Martial was partly in team training.
”Marcus Rashford is a major doubt to return after Ten Hag confirmed he had make little progress on recovering from an injury he suffered in the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry.
Amid these injury woes at Old Trafford, below is a predicted XI that Ten Hag could name in Man United’s third to last Premier League fixture of the 2023/24 season against Oliver Glasner’s soaring Eagles team.
Predicted Man Utd XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Evans, Dalot; Mainoo, Eriksen; Antony, Mount, Garnacho, Hojlund
Injuries: Lindelof, Varane, Malacia, Kambwala, Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Martial, Shaw.
