Man Utd Set To Offer Player Plus Cash After Opening Bid Rejected For Euros Star

Manchester United continues to work on new incomings this summer. The RedDevils have reportedly lodged a €25m offer for Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.

Reports from Turkish outlet A SPOR hint a move to Old Trafford could be forthcoming, with Fenerbahce said to value Kadioglu for around £30m.

United might’ve been able to snatch Kadioglu for an even cheaper fee if it wasn’t for his performances at Euro 2024, as Fenerbahce are believed to be holding out for a higher payout on the back of the tournament.

Kadioglu featured in all five of Turkey’s matches in Germany, but any United fans wondering what sort of player they’d be getting have been left somewhat none the wiser.

That’s because Kadioglu is a little bit of everything, with the 24-year-old having previously featured as a defender, midfielder and even attacker.

Although his versatility across the pitch, it’s likely Kadioglu would be signed to primarily operate as a full-back in Erik ten Hag’s side.
