The Sun has now reported that Wan-Bissaka is actively holding up the deal with West Ham. The England international’s contract is set to end in less than 12 months and if he signs with a new club as a free agent he will ‘bank a huge signing-on fee’.
However, the 26-year-old is ready to leave the Red Devils if the club agrees to give him a chunk of the fee that they receive from the Hammers this summer.
The Hammers insider revealed that Wan Bissaka is actually asking for an incredible £7 million just to leave Old Trafford. Speaking to C&H this morning, our source revealed, “Wan Bissaka wants a £7m pay off from United because he’s a Bosman in a year, that’s the problem”
