Man Utd’s Gem Returns To Training After Long-Term Injury

Manchester United’s midfielder from the Academy Dan Gore has been sidelined since last season after suffering a freak shoulder injury.

Dan Gore required surgery at the beginning of June and did not return to training at Carrington until September as he continued his recovery from the freak injury, which disrupted his pre-season.

Gore was included in United’s pre-season tour last summer and was tipped to have a breakthrough season at the club.

He spent the second half of last term out on loan with Port Vale, but his time there was disrupted by an injury which he sustained after just one appearance.

Back in June, Gore revealed that he had undergone successful surgery to repair a dislocated shoulder, with the initial expectation being that he would be fully recovered in time for the start of the season. However, his rehabilitation has taken longer than anticipated, and he is yet to make a full recovery.

After being seen on the grass yesterday, Gore is making steady progress in his recovery, aiming to reach full fitness as Manchester United faces a congested fixture list in the coming weeks.
