Manchester United Hold Talks With Karim Benzema’s Agent
Man United, Arsenal and Lyon in talks with Karim Benzema’s agentAccording to sources, Manchester United, Arsenal and Lyon have all entered into discussions with Karim Benzema’s agent, as the striker’s future at Al Ittihad remains unclear.
Benzema, 34, was a key player for Los Blancos over the past decade, winning four Champions League titles and becoming the club’s second-highest goalscorer of all time before moving to Saudi Arabia just last summer. Karim Benzema is currently unhappy at Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and he is earnestly seeking for a move back to Europe where it all started for Karim.

This has sparked interest from a number of clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Lyon. All three clubs are said to be interested in signing the Frenchman, and are currently in talks with his agent to discuss a possible move.
It is believed that Benzema is keen to leave Saudi Arabia. If Benzema does leave Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, he would be a major coup for any club that is able to sign him. He is one of the best strikers in the world, and would provide a huge boost to any team’s attacking options.
Karim Benzema is definitely not without his critics, with some questioning whether he is still at the peak of his powers. He is 34 years old, and there are doubts over whether he can continue to perform at the highest level for much longer.
Nevertheless, it is clear that there is plenty of interest in Benzema from United’s Camp with the Reds looking to recruit the experience of a senior striker to help boost their attack alongside Rasmus Højlund, and it will be fascinating to see where he ends up this winter.
