Manchester United Injury Update Ahead Of Fulham’s Game
Erik Ten Hag previously confirmed in a press conference that Raphael Varane will be fit for tomorrow’s game against Fulham in the Premier League.
Raphael Varane has been missing from Manchester United’s last two games and the veteran was not seen on the Manchester United bench in Wednesday night’s defeat to Newcastle. Reports recently emerged that Varane was unhappy with Eric Teb Hag after he was left on the bench in Manchester United’s loss to City in the Manchester derby last Sunday.
Erik Ten Hag described Varane’s absence from the starting XI as a tactical formation and Evans was preferred to Raphael Varane.
Manchester United could also miss the trip to Fulham with Victor Lindelof as the Swede is reportedly ill and could miss several games.
Additionally, Kobbie Mainoo could be the next name in Manchester United’s squad tomorrow afternoon after returning from injury and making two appearances for the MUFC U21s. Luke Shaw’s return date is set for early next month and the England international is working towards a full recovery.
Another name that could be missing from the Manchester United squad would be Casemiro, who has suffered a hamstring injury and could be out until the end of the year. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to be available after playing the entire second half against Newcastle.
Other names on Manchester United’s injury list include Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez. They are expected to become active again next month.
