Marcus Rashford Milan Move in Jeopardy as Player Fails Medicals

Marcus Rashford’s hopes of joining AC Milan in the January transfer window have hit a snag.

The 27-year-old forward, who has fallen out of favor under Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, was expected to seal a move away from Old Trafford this month.

However, Noah Okafor’s failed medicals have put a spanner in the works, as Okafor’s move was supposed to provide room for Rashford’s signing at AC Milan.

Rashford hasn’t played for Manchester United since their Europa League win over Viktoria Plzen on December 12, and Amorim admitted on Sunday that he doesn’t know if Rashford has played his last game for the club.

Several clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham, have been linked with a move for Rashford, but AC Milan was thought to be the front-runner.

AC Milan had reportedly made an offer to Manchester United to take Rashford on loan, but the deal now appears to be in jeopardy due to Okafor’s failed medicals.

Rashford’s contract, which runs until 2028 and earns him over £325,000 a week, is also a significant obstacle to any potential transfer.

It’s worth noting that Rashford has received offers from multiple clubs, but his dream move is reportedly to join Barcelona in the January window.

However, with AC Milan’s interest now uncertain, it remains to be seen where Rashford will end up next.
