PSV Close to Full Agreement to Sign Man Utd Defender
PSV Eindhoven in Pole Position to Land Manchester United’s Harry Amass on Loan

PSV Eindhoven is reportedly leading the race to sign Manchester United’s highly-rated young left-back, Harry Amass, on a season-long loan.
The Dutch giants are making a strong push to beat out competition from several Championship clubs, with Sheffield Wednesday also in ongoing talks for the player’s signature.
Amass, 18, is a highly-touted prospect who has impressed in Manchester United’s youth setup and has already made seven senior appearances for the club.
However, with the arrival of new signing Diego Leon, the club has decided that a loan move would be the best course of action for Amass’s development.
Sources suggest that Manchester United is not seeking a loan fee for the deal, viewing it as a “developmental loan” to ensure the youngster gets crucial first-team experience.
This has led to a flurry of interest, with more than a dozen clubs reportedly in contact with United.
PSV, managed by Peter Bosz, has made their pitch to Amass’s representatives. The club is hoping that the successful loan spell of another Manchester United player, Mason Mount, at Vitesse Arnhem will help persuade Amass to move to the Netherlands.
Sheffield Wednesday remains a strong contender, and discussions with the Owls are ongoing.
The Championship side, who recently had their transfer embargo lifted, are in need of defensive reinforcements and see Amass as a key target.
The move to a physically demanding league like the Championship could provide the defensive test that United’s coaching staff desires for the young left-back.
