The 25 year old offers technical security and assured passing, facilitating a smooth build-up from defence. The La Liga giants have been impressed with Dalot’s performances in an underwhelming United team.

United could face a significant challenge in persuading Dalot to remain at Old Trafford next summer, especially if the team’s results don’t improve.

When a club like Real Madrid comes calling, it’s difficult for any player to turn down such an opportunity.

Dalot’s current contract with United runs until June 2028, which places the club in a strong position when it comes to negotiations next summer.
