Reports – Ruben Amorim Makes Four Transfer Request to Ineos

Manchester United’s January Transfer Plans Revealed

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has identified key areas to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.

The Portuguese tactician is keen to bolster his team with strategic signings to boost their chances of success in the second half of the season.

Left-Wing Back a Priority

Amorim’s primary target is a left-wing back, a position that has been a weakness for United in recent times.

The manager is eager to bring in a specialist to provide competition and improve the team’s defensive solidity.

Nuno Mendes has been strongly linked for a move to Man United this January, and he’s one to keep an eye on amongst many other options.

Striker on United’s Radar

Additionally, Amorim is keeping a close eye on the striker market, with a potential move contingent on the departures of either Joshua Zirkzee or Marcus Rashford.

Should either player leave, United will seek to bring in a replacement to bolster their attacking options.

Goalkeeper Competition Sought

Another area of focus for Amorim is the goalkeeper position, where he aims to provide competition for current number one, Andre Onana.

A new goalkeeper would add depth and push Onana to maintain his best form.

Altay Bayindir is not considered a suitable candidate to provide such competition for Onana.

Midfield Reinforcement

Furthermore, according to The Telegraph, Amorim would love to sign a midfielder should Casemiro and Eriksen depart in January.

This would help maintain the team’s midfield stability and ensure a smooth transition.
