Revealed: Aston Villa’s Loan Fee for Marcus Rashford
Manchester United and Aston Villa have reached an agreement in principle for the loan transfer of Marcus Rashford, with the deal set to last until the conclusion of the current season.

According to sources, Aston Villa will pay a loan fee of around £5M and cover the majority of Rashford’s substantial weekly salary of £325,000.
The agreement also includes an option for Villa to purchase Rashford during the summer transfer window.
The move comes after Villa sold Jhon Duran to Al Nassr for £64 million, prompting the club to seek additional attacking options.
Rashford, who has been absent from Manchester United’s matchday squads for nearly seven weeks, expressed enthusiasm for the move to Villa, citing the convenience of not having to relocate.
The England international will have the opportunity to participate in Champions League knockout football for the first time since 2022.
The loan deal marks a significant development in Rashford’s saga, which began when he voiced a desire for a “new challenge” nearly seven weeks ago.
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim had emphasized that Rashford must “change” to earn reintegration into the United first team.
