Revealed: Crystal Conditions For Michael Olise’s Utd Move

Manchester United’s squad overhaul could begin with a summer move for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

Michael Olise has been on the radar for top English clubs since his emergence at Crystal Palace with Manchester United reportedly now keen on the talented winger.

Right-wing has been a problem position at United for years with Antony massively underwhelming since his €95 million move from Ajax.

Mason Greenwood was becoming a household name in that position before his marital troubles that kept him out for more than a year.

Jadon Sancho is another prominent that could not lay claim of that position before his altercations with the manager that led to his loan exit in January.

Sir Jim Radcliffe agreed a deal to takeover sporting control at United with Olise rumoured to be a priority summer target.

The French Under–21 international has impressed on his return from a hamstring injury this season including a brace against the Red Devils few days ago and United won’t be the only top club monitoring his performances.

A deal for Olise could herald the beginning of an overhaul at Old Trafford following Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.3billion investment for a 25 percent stake in the club.

Michael Olise failed move in January

The 22-year-old rejected the opportunity to join Chelsea in the summer after they triggered his €35m release clause.

Crystal Palace were unhappy with Chelsea’s approach and chairman Steve Parish pleaded with Olise to stay and he agreed before penning a new four-year deal.

Michael Olise release clause

It’s understood that his new contract contains an increased minimum fee release clause around €60m and that’s unlikely to deter interested parties.

Manchester United have been strongly linked across the last week with the Old Trafford side expected to formalise their interest during the summer window.

Michael Olise current market value

Olise’s current market value is €50m, which makes him Crystal Palace’s most valuable asset.

Palace will land a significant profit if Olise departs after signing him from €9.3m from Reading in 2021.

Olise’s valuation has increased steadily across his two-and-a-half years at Palace with his market value soaring by €16m during the 2022/23 campaign.
