Revealed Date: Man Utd Set For Tour In India
For the second straight year, Manchester United conducted a preseason tour of the United States.
The Red Devils won’t be alone, with high-profile Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool coming to the U.S. ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
“The popularity of English football is continuously growing in the U.S., and we’ve come to expect passionate and enthusiastic support from our U.S. fan base,” said the club’s football director John Murtough. “They didn’t disappoint last year and everyone at the club is looking forward to reconnecting with those fans again this summer.”
United confirmed three matches for this year preseason tour in the US: a clash with Arsenal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles was played on July 27, a July 31 match was played with Real Betis in San Diego, and an August 3 the last game of the preseason tour saw United come up against Liverpool at Williams-Brice Stadium — the home of the University of South Carolina football team — in Columbia, South Carolina.
