Sir Alex Ferguson Set to Return to the Touchline
Former Manchester United legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson is poised for an unexpected return to the touchline this weekend.
The legendary Scot, who retired from management in 2013, has continued to make occasional guest appearances, and this time, he will be part of a special event.
Sir Alex Ferguson will join other managers at the Stadio Franchi in Florence on Saturday for Giuseppe Rossi’s farewell match.

Rossi, who retired in 2023 after a remarkable career across Europe, will see several football stars gather in Italy to honor his legacy.
Among the notable names set to participate are Luca Toni, Antonio Cassano, and Gabriel Omar Batistuta. However, it’s not just players who are eager to be involved.
Rossi has confirmed that Ferguson will also be on the touchline for the match. Rossi shared, “Ferguson will be there as a coach. He was my first coach—I signed with him when I was 17.
Although I only spent three years with him and played sparingly, he immediately agreed to come, which speaks volumes about the kind of person he is.
I didn’t achieve much at United, but he treats me with the same respect as Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 1,000 goals.”
