Sofyan Amrabat Firmly Believes Manchester United Can turn Their Season Around
Expressing his confidence, Sofyan Amrabat is optimistic about Manchester United’s ability to recover from their slow start to the season. Having secured Amrabat’s services in the final moments of the summer transfer window, the Red Devils completed a £8.5m loan agreement and hold the option to permanently sign the midfielder for an additional £17.1m next summer.
Since joining the club, Amrabat has made five appearances across various competitions. However, he has faced challenges in making an immediate impact due to Manchester United’s injury crisis. In recent weeks, he has been forced to fill in at left-back due to Luke Shaw, Sergio Reguilon, and Tyrell Malacia’s unavailability.
Despite experiencing disappointing results, Amrabat recognizes positive signs and remains supportive of Erik ten Hag’s team, believing they can rediscover their top form.”In life and in football, not everything always goes smoothly,” Amrabat shared with the club’s media. “We are facing a challenging moment currently, but it’s still the early stages. We have a long season ahead of us and I believe we have had good performances, showing many positive aspects.”
“With a little more luck, we could have won the games we ended up losing. I have great confidence in our team, as we work diligently every day.”
“Success isn’t handed to you; we must work for it. But with our hard work and dedication, I genuinely believe that we will overcome this and come out stronger.”Following their thrilling 2-1 victory over Brentford, sealed by Scott McTominay’s late brace, Manchester United aims to build on their momentum as they face Sheffield United on October 21 at Bramall Lane.
