Two Manchester United Academy Players Set To Sign New Contracts
Manchester United are in advanced talks with youngster Ethan Wheatley (17) about signing a first professional contract with the club. Wheatley is seen as one of the club’s brightest young prospects.United are also planning to offer Omari Forson (19) a longer-term deal. Forson is one of the club’s most highly regarded academy products and has scored seven goals in eight underage matches.

Forson’s contract with United expires at the end of the season, but the Manchester Evening News understands he’s set to sign a new deal in recognition of his progression.
Forson, who is yet to make his first-team debut, will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs in January, which means he’s set to sign his new contract at United before the New Year.
Erik ten Hag named Forson in the first-team squad for the pre-season tour of the United States and he recently made the matchday squad that travelled to play F.C. Copenhagen in the Champions League.
Omari Forson has been training regularly with the Manchester United first team and played in a part during Manchester United’s pre-season games.
Forson is highly rated by Erik ten Hag and he has been pivotal in Forson agreeing to pen down a new deal with the Red Devils. Omari Forson versatility could come in handy for Manchester in the near future.
