United Former Boss Jose Mourinho Pushing For Man Utd Duo This Summer

Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, who has previously made no secret of his admiration for his former boss.

Lindelof, 29, was originally brought to Old Trafford back in 2017 by Mourinho, who spent two years at the helm before being sacked in 2018.

Lindelof is still on the books at United, who triggered a one-year option in the Sweden international’s contract earlier this year, but he is one of a number of players who could leave the club this summer.

It has since been reported by Fotomac that Mourinho and the Super Lig giants have designs on bringing the central defender to Turkey.

Lindelof has made over 250 appearances for Manchester United during the past seven seasons but the Red Devils are likely to consider offers for him and a number of other players this summer in a bid to raise funds.

Jose Mourinho interested in Scott McTominay

Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on bringing Scott McTominay to Fernebahce this summer, after previously hailing the Scotland midfielder as Manchester United’s “best player.” During his time as Man Utd boss.

26-year-old McTominay made his senior debut under Mourinho in 2017 and has since become a regular in the United squad under different managers. He has made over 200 appearances for the club.

With United looking to revamp their midfield options, McTominay has been linked with a potential departure.

United are expected to demand a fee of around £25 million for McTominay as they are aware of how highly he is thought of by Mourinho. Mourinho even created his own “Manager’s Player of the Year” award in 2018, which he presented to McTominay.

Fernebahce are expected to face stiff competition for McTominay’s signature as the English club is also keen on his signature.
