“Enough Is Enough” — Marcus Rashford Fires Back At Critics

Marcus Rashford has suggested he is judged differently than some other footballers and said there is a bias to media reporting of both his perceived attitude at Manchester United and off-the-field lifestyle.

After scoring a career-high 30 goals last campaign, Marcus Rashford has been in poor form this season, scoring only five goals so far. He has faced the heat games after games this season owning to his continuous poor run off form and body language.

Speaking to Tribunal months ago Rashford talked about the bias to the reportage, hinting at a certain wider, more disturbing, bias.

“It can’t just be about me as a 26-year-old lad on a night out, or a lad getting a parking ticket,” wrote the striker who recently reported sick before training after being photographed on a night out in Belfast.

“It’s got to be about how much my car costs, guessing my weekly salary, my jewellery or even my tattoos.Furthermore, he begged fans to have ‘a bit more humanity.’

“I can take any criticism. I can take any headline. From podcasts, social media and the papers. I can take it. But if you start questioning my commitment to this club and my love for football and bringing my family into it, then I’d simply ask you to have a bit more humanity,” he responded.

Rashford recently hit back to his critics again last night on his X handle;

Responding to a fan support post, he wrote: ” I appreciate your support! It us abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.”
