Man Utd ‘Complete Summer Swoop For Reading’s Gem

According to The Manchester Evening News, Erik ten Hag’s side had been keeping close tabs on Camron Mpofu for a while.

Camron Mpofu has confirmed his move to Manchester United from Reading.

Mpofu was first linked to United in May when it was mentioned that the youngster’s family was set to relocate to the North-West to support him in the next stage of his promising career.

Mpofu took to Instagram where he posted a picture of him holding the United shirt with his name and the number nine.

He wrote alongside the photo, “I’m proud to officially announce my signing for Manchester United.”

“I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me on this journey so far, especially my family, the coaches and staff Reading FC.”

“The hard work continues.”

His father replied, “Go crush it young king. Beyond proud of you. We love you.”
