Manchester United Key Midfielder On Newcastle Radar For January

Newcastle United would look to bolster their midfield ranks with Sandra Tonali receiving a 10-month ban for a betting scandal.

Sandro Tonali joined Newcastle during the summer transfer window from Ac Milan in a mouth-watering €70M deal. Sandra Tonali quickly settled to life in the premier league but we look to be short-lived after a 10-month ban from any footballing activities.

Earlier in the summer Newcastle United showed serious interest in Manchester United Midfielder Scott Mctominay before opting for Tonali. The Magpies were ready to offer £40M to do a deal with Manchester United for the Scottish International, Moreover Manchester United were not willing to do a deal with Newcastle United.

The Magpies could be forced to be back in for Scott Mctominay in January to cover for the suspended Sandro Tonali but any deal for Scott Mctominay will be in the region of £40-50M asking price.

Scott Mctominay who has also been prolific in front of goal from midfield could very well be pivotal for Newcastle season.
